East Production works mainly in three areas: news, sports and events.

As far as News are concerned, three of our small SNG trucks work exclusively for the TV2 news programmes TV2 Nyhederne and TV2 News. These trucks are sent out at very short notice and cover large and small events 24 hours a day, manned with reporters and camera men from the stations in question. For larger news reports, East Production is often on location with our large 5 camera SNG trucks. Lately we have covered a range of events for Danish and international broadcasters, like royal family events, state visits from abroad, summit meetings in the EU, elections and political crises, disturbances on Nørrebro or freak weather situations.

In the world of sports we have covered just about anything you can think of. We are there on the side line during national matches or European or World Cup Football/Handball. We cover the Olympics – summer and winter. We follow all major bicycle races like the Tour de France, Vuelta, Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix, World Road Cycling Championship or the Switzerland Tour. We cover the Champions League and the UEFA tournament, World Icehockey Championship, Danish Open in badminton – and also transmit from the national tournaments like the Viasat Division or the Handball tournaments.

Last year we expanded our coverage of activities in events and company communication, where we make everthing from large international leadership conferences for Novo Nordic to a quick interview with the Director of Carlsberg in connection with the presentation of the semi-annual results.
